Well the top left is our tour guide, on the top right is one of the person helping out at the Eco Village. The bottom left is some of the Cambodian kids I've make friends with and the bottom right is my so called daughter
Fourth day morning and we would be leaving the Eco village already, it was quite sad to leave the Eco village as I've made so much Cambodian friends over there. But our teacher has give back our phone and I was lucky to take some photos with them and some pictures of the scenery before I leave. After we finish our last breakfast at the Eco Village, we went to another school played tug-of-war, husband and wife and teach them some simple english words while reading story books to them. It was quite hard and awkward while teaching them as they don't really know what your talking at the same time. In the school, I've realized that some of the kids are walking barefooted on the sand and in the classroom, both the sand and the floor was very hot and there were lots of insects, but they are used to this environment and they do not care about it.
But sadly we only could spend about 1-2 hours with the school and the people at the CDO organization there. But I'm still happy to make lots of friends at the school and the CDO organization One of the kids at the CDO organization even give me a bracelet to keep as a memo before I leave. We went to have our dinner and we went to the old market again to do some shopping and buying souvenirs for our family members and our friends. After shopping we went to check in the hotel that we were staying on the first night. We had to sleep earlier as we have to wake up at 3.30am (cambodia time) because some of us want to see the sunrise at the angkor wat.
Well I was eating nutella while watching a show on TV, with one of my friend at my another friend's room and after that we head to my friend's room and fell asleep at 1.30. I had to wake up at 3am because I wasn't in my own room and I do not want the teacher to catch me, so I only slept for 1 hr and 30 mins.
After seeing the sunrise we went to visit 3 temples. The Elephants and Leper King Terraces, Bayon Complex Temples and the Ta Prohm
We went to take the Ox cart ride through the local village. It was fun, scary and quite bumpy because theres lots of rocks on the floor. Unfortunately, 3 of my friends had injuries, 1 on the leg, 1 on the face and 1 on the finger. 2 of them were sent to the hospital and it was very lucky that they weren't serious injuries.
As you can see the steps are very steep so we had to take some time going up and coming down the stairs.
Oh that guy in peach shirt is my another tour guide in Cambodia! Didn't manage to take a photo with him before I leave though.
After visiting the temples we went to the old market for shopping again and to settle some things before heading towards a local restaurant. While we were eating in the restaurant we manage to see some of the performances over there.
Half of us chose to the other go back to the hotel to rest while half of us chose to go to the night market for shopping again after our dinner
It was the last night in Cambodia for us so all of us decided to stay awake all night and "party" but end up almost everyone's asleep except for me and my other 3 friends while waiting for my teacher to stop patrolling around our corridor. Well Talia got a cold and she didn't get to sleep the previous night so she fell asleep right after she ate the medicine that I gave her. After my teacher went back to his room and sleep, me and the other 2 of my friends came out of our room and went up to 2nd floor to find my friend and play cards in his room. The 4 of us played cards together but they only play till around 1.45 - 2am and they say they want to go back to their rooms. Well after I went back to my room I didn't fall asleep till like around 2.45am? We had to wake up at 6am and finish packing our luggage and go downstairs and have our breakfast before heading off to airport at 8am.
Well, I somehow did a right choice to come Cambodia because I can experience how the people live in Cambodia and try out their food. We might have some issues here and there but still all of us had fun together. Until now I still miss the fun I had at Cambodia and the Cambodia people I've made friends with, how I wish the group of us can go back to Cambodia together again for a Cambodia trip part 2 soon!
