Moving on, I had actually sign up a marathon called National Vertical Marathon in March, and it took place on 24 May 2015. It is a marathon that you have to climb up 63 levels high! I don't really know my exact timing but I think I manage to complete between 20-30 minutes? Glad that I manage to complete it though as this is my first time joining a marathon, and even though I feel like giving up at times.
29 May was actually the last day of school. So in the morning the whole school had breakfast treat, well my class chose Mac breakfast, so all of us went to the canteen after the morning assembly and had breakfast. At around 10.30am, we had interclass games with Sec 4/1, 4/2 and 4/3B. (btw my class is 4/3A) The girls played captains ball and the boys played soccer. Even though we got second place in overall, I'm sure everyone did their best and had fun while competing one another.
So a few of my friends had actually decided to have dinner together on the same day. One of my friend had planned to have Korean grill barbecue buffet at Orchard center. It was very awkward for me at first because I'm not those type of people who goes out with people that I'm not close with, but I must say they had actually made my night. We kept on laughing non stop during the dinner time and I guess we are the only ones who talk and laugh so loudly in the restaurant. Plus we took almost like half an hour to one hour to just take photos. Well I did had an enjoyable day with them, and I'm glad to be in the same class as them, even though they are noisy and likes to irritate me at times. After that I went to vivo to meet my primary school friends for awhile and one of them sent me home because there was no bus left to go back my house.
So for the past few days, 2 to 5 June, I had actually sign up for AEM at Republic poly for Theme Park and Attraction course. Is just a short period of time but I managed to make some new friends and had fun with them. So on 2nd June it was just learning more about Theme park and Attraction course at the Republic Poly. My class had about 17 students and we had to be group into groups of 4, so the teacher-in-charge gave us lollipop and went to group us by the colour of lollipop that we had chosen. After the first day of the course I had went to Orchard to have dinner and celebrate my Aunty's birthday. Even though is just a short 45 minutes catching up, is still nice doing some catch up with her after about 1-2 months of not seeing her.
On the 2nd day of the course, we had visited the National Museum of Singapore in the morning to learn more the 700 years history of Singapore. The teacher also gave us a worksheet to do while viewing the museum. In the afternoon we went back to the Republic Poly and learn a new topic of the course till around 4.30 and we were dismissed.
On the 3rd day of the course, we went to USS ! YAY!!!! We get to enjoy all the rides and shows from 10am to 4pm and we have to complete a worksheet before 4pm and gather at a place to hand up the paper to the teacher-n-charge. Since all of us wants to continue playing after 4pm, the teachers allowed us and most of us went to play till around 6+ - 7. I managed to try out the rides that I've never been before like the canopy, the accelerator etc and the newest ride called "Puss In Boots" that was launched last week. I went on the Puss In Boots ride for like 3 times, and twice for the mummy and enchanted airways. I had so much fun on that day even though I almost lost my voice due to all the screaming.
We queued for almost 1 hour and 15 mins just for transformers ride, what even. The queue was damn damn damn longggggg!
Is my first time trying Churros, is nice but quite dry though.
On the last day of the course, we had to do a presentation and a reflection. During the presentation, we actually had lots of laughter as my group and group 1 was "making things difficult" for the people who present by asking lots of questions and the way they answer was funny. It was quite upset knowing that its the last day of the course, throughout these 4 days I actually get to know a few of my school mates that I did not know they existed till the day of the course and having so much fun with them. Well is a good experience for me though.
